Due to sustained growth and expansion of our use of Deltek to include client and resource management, we are actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of Deltek System Administrator. This position will plan, direct, and coordinate the operation of Deltek Vision, ensuring database integrity and communication meets company standards. This position will report to the COO and CFO and will require interaction and communication with all company staff.

The following are duties and responsibilities that will be required to successfully perform this role.

General Deltek/Vision

  • Lead the efforts on introducing new versions and updates;
  • Create workflow processes and customization of dashboards and reporting;
  • Design, develop and provide enhancements for Deltek operations;
  • Provides industry standards updates and changes to the product;
  • Day to day Deltek technical support for all staff;
  • Provide data validation and ensure data quality;
  • Troubleshoot and provide resolution to any issues that come up in Deltek;
  • Gain efficiencies by utilizing all areas and functions of the database, and;
  • Primary point of contact with Deltek.

Marketing (Clients, Contacts, Leads, Marketing Campaigns, Opportunities)

  • Support Director of Marketing in the creation of inputs and organization of data;
  • Develop standards for data analysis, and;
  • Assist in the development of reports and provide summaries and feedback to department Directors and VP’s.

Project Management/Resource Planning

  • Develop workflows and customize program to meet Chazen needs;
  • Support RP implementation;
  • Provide ongoing customization and support to Project Managers and Directors, and;
  • Work with COO, CFO to develop reporting standards and provide summaries and feedback to department Directors and VP’s.


  • Documentation and development of technical process manuals;
  • Provide training to all staff and offices;
  • Recording trainings and develop library of training videos to supplement Deltek Learning Zone, and;
  • Support all offices. Chazen has 6 sites which require visits on a routine basis. Participate is those visits and report back outstanding issues for the COO, CFO to resolve before the next visit.

Network and Security Administration

  • Co-control of 3-Tier servers (Data, Reporting, Web);
  • Assist network team with all hardware and software updates as required;
  • Co-Create, document and oversee all security roles, and;
  • Auditing of all roles.


Minimum of 10 years Accounting/IT experience 

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Deltek Vision.  

A detailed understanding of Deltek Vision, including Client Resource Management (CRM) and Resource Planning (RP) is required.

Written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively work with staff across multiple offices, will be required to successfully fill this position.
