Formed by the merger of Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center, Orange Regional is licensed for 383 beds and employs over 2,500 healthcare professionals including over 600 doctors. Orange Regional Medical Center has consolidated two existing campuses onto a single site in Middletown, New York. This completed facility is the first new freestanding hospital built in the State of New York since 1989 and is the largest medical center between the Tappan Zee Bridge and Albany.

    Responsibilities

    Performs a full scope of Ultrasound technological procedures utilizing Ultrasound scanning equipment on patients to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disease.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.

    Minimum Experience: One year clinical experience recommended.

    Required Certification/ Registration:ARDMS Registered or Registry eligible. Must be registered within 18 months of hire date

    Physical Requirements: Frequently and intense visual activity at least 50 percent of the day. Color recognition (shades and intensities ). Frequent lifting and repositioning of patients required. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted.

    Working Conditions: Works inside controlled lab facilities. Often performing ultrasound exams in partially darkened exam room.
