    Responsibilities

    Assists Nursing Management in staffing inpatient & outpatient areas with regard to volume, acuity, activity & collective bargaining agreements (CBA's). Assign’s & schedules float employees, advance-booking employees for work & focusing on minimizing overtime whenever possible. Accurately documents employee absences, leaves & schedule changes on a daily basis. Reviews next shift, day and weekend staffing sheets to identify shortages / overages. Performs payroll functions. Demonstrates excellent attendance, reliability & employee/customer relations. Maintains a calm professional manner at all times.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

    Minimum Experience: Previous clerical, scheduling, customer service, experience preferred.

    Required Certification/Registration: N/A

    Physical Demands: Works with lightweight objects most of the time. Heavy telephone
    utilization. Intermediate standing, walking, sitting, bending and
    reaching. Work can be stressful due to time restrictions on staffing.

    Working Conditions: Indoor work. Contact with Administrators, Directors and staff.
