Charge entry and validation, Liaison for Third Party Billing Company, Customer Service for Billing Related Inquiries. Receives and records all patient and third party payments for services rendered. Ensures data input has been recorded properly and timely by reconciling to daily cash reports. Must be able to balance to bank deposits.
High School graduate with required knowledge in Medical Terminology, ICD-10 CM Coding and CPT-4 coding.
Minimum 1 year of billing experience in a health care setting. Knowledge of Workers Compensation and No-Fault Billing preferred.
Medical Terminology certificate preferred.
Sitting, walking, and standing for short periods. Lifting of light objects no more than 25 pounds.
