    Responsibilities

    Perform a variety of complex specialized Interventional procedures on Patients of every age group.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education: Graduate of a certified, accredited radiology program.

    Minimum Experience: Three years of Radiologic experience required;
    Recent experience performing special procedures preferred

    Required Certification/Registration: Current New York State license. Registry with A.R.R.T. is preferred. IR Registry desirable. Must Be certified to inject contrast by the New York State Department of Health

    Physical Requirements: Work involves mostly standing and walking. Assists with patients on/off X-ray table. Pushes equipment weighing in excess of 100 lbs. less than 50 percent of the time.
    Wear a lead apron for extended periods of time.

    Working Conditions: Works inside office facilities. Controlled exposure to disagreeable odors and infection. Wears protective clothing and film badge to control or defect exposure to radiation.
