This role consists of oversight support to the Directors of the Manufacturing and Communications sub-market segment and the Multi-Domain Weapon Systems sub-market segment – both within the Spectrum Convergence market segment. These two sub-market segments provide a wide range of opportunity to manage the contractual aspects of multiple facets of the LM business including software services, hardware solutions and a commercial, wholly-owned subsidiary. As the functional lead, the candidate will work closely with each of the Director's functional staff to develop and implement strategic actions for the growth and sustainment of the Spectrum Convergence business. The role will report directly to the market segment Senior Contracts Leader for Spectrum Convergence.

Responsibilities will include management of a multi-cultural and multi-generational staff of full-time contracts professionals located in 2 geographical locations: Deer Creek CO and Valley Forge PA. Direct staff range from early career professionals to experienced level 5 leads. In this role, the candidate will have responsibility for developing contracts professionals with strength in all aspects of Contracting including government, commercial, domestic and international agreements. Spectrum Convergence is seeking a strong leader with contractual expertise and direct experience in all facets of contracts and proposal management with an ability to lead and direct employees in remote locations.

Basic Qualifications
Looking for Contracting professionals who have experience with commercial, international, and U.S. Government contracts and who possess in-depth knowledge of the FAR and DFARS.

Candidates must have experience interpreting RFP’s and contract terms, identifying risks and developing contract positions to mitigate.

Must be able to establish effective working relationships and communications with internal and external customers, including senior leadership across the functional portfolio, concerning projects, operational decisions, technical activities, schedules, contractual issues, and general overall contract performance.

Must be able to manage a multitude of assignments and objectives to support the Spectrum Convergence market segment.

Must be able to interpret and communicate organizational goals and company policies.

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; providing appropriate attention to detail, be teamwork oriented with excellent organizational skills; and possess strong leadership skills.

Function in an autonomous environment with remote leadership and manage remote talent.

Evaluate employee performance and establish measurable standards to align with organizational priorities and individual development needs and goals.

Travel as needed to support the business needs, both domestic and possible international.
