    Responsibilities

    Coordinates and supervises resident care and related nursing activities on the unit, including ensuring adequate staffing, providing staff education, performance evaluation, QA monitoring, and compliance with facility policies and local, state and federal regulations. Responsible for supervising the entire facility on a weekly basis and oversee all staffing issues for all units.

    Qualifications

    Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Associates degree required. Currently licensed and registered in NYS as a registered professional nurse

    Minimum of three (3) years experience in geriatrics or medical/surgical nursing with one (1) year s management or supervisory experience Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership ability. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations. knowledge of MDS, PRI’s, and computers preferred

    BLS certified, IV certified

    Full-Time Day Mon-Fri. Flex schedule when needed.
