This position supports our Convenient Care department, which is comprised of three parts: Urgent Care, Employee Health, and Occupational Medicine. The provision of Urgent Care access is a vital resource provided by Nuvance Health to the community. Not only does this allow patients quick access to care, but it also ensures appropriate use of Emergency Room services for higher acuity patients. Employee Health plays a very important role in ensuring that employees meet the physical requirements of a job, maintaining compliance of annual health screening, providing resources to ensure the safety and health of our workforce, training other staff, and managing a return-to-work program. Occupational medicine performs services similar to employee health, but for external companies in the community. This provides a necessary service to these companies but also serves as a source of revenue for Nuvance.
