The Analyst works collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary oncology team and is responsible for organizing the designing, implementing, and supporting IT applications throughout Oncology to support workflow, operations and achieve best practices through efficient, timely and accurate data capture and use. The analyst shall encompass regulatory knowledge, focus on error prevention and workflow analysis to achieve excellent patient care outcomes. In addition the Analyst shall organize the tracking clinical staff’s competency, and organizational tasks as needed to allow efficient workflow in Oncology.
- Clinical professional preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of two years recent experience in process analytics preferably in a healthcare setting, with two years of direct experience with clinical computer system applications is required. An understanding of analytical processes, along with demonstrated proficient computer skills related to spreadsheet use, plus database and query abilities.
- Must have organizational and planning skills including the ability to adapt to frequent interruptions, prioritize tasks, maintain performance under pressure, and anticipate the needs of others. In addition, must be willing to travel. It is necessary to attend vendor meetings, training and /or User Group Conferences.
