    Responsibilities

    Measures by means of an electroencephalograph (EEG) impulse, frequencies and differences in electrical potential between various areas of the brain to obtain data for diagnosis of brain disorders. Provides for cross training in EKG procedures to meet departmental needs. Provides direct services to a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric and critical care patients according to the policies and procedures of the department and hospital. Provides epilepsy monitoring, long-term/ambulatory monitoring and scanning, evoked potentials and electro-corticography. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to the age of the patient served by the Cardio-Respiratory and neurodiagnostic department.

    Qualifications

    Education: High School Graduate.

    Experience: Previous neurodiagnostic experience or training preferred.

    Associate degree preferred; registery required w/in 2 yrs
